Inspirational Story - The Red Rose

I want to share a story that the guy who gave a sermon in church shared us. When i heard it i was touched and cried. I even received a red rose the one in the picture above. I took a picture of the rose when we got home. Anyway, you might tell this to anybody whom you like.

There was a lady that live in New York. She was happy that day because it was her birthday. She tried to look at her wallet since she wants to buy a new pair of Balance Shoes. But her money was not enough and she got upset. She asked herself what can she do that day it was her birthday. She pose for a while and thought maybe she will buy a dozen of roses. She was thankful that its her birthday and she wants someone to have those roses.

She started walking down the street of New York and found a guy who was very dirty and she thought maybe a homeless guy. When she gave the rose and said "I want to give you this rose because today is my birthday and God bless you." Immediately the man was cried because nobody give him a rose before. Still God remember him even he was that way. Then she continue walking down the subway and saw a woman that have three kids shouting and crying. She went closer to them and gave the red rose then said i want to give this rose because its my birthday and God bless you. Three kids stop crying and shouting then look at the rose. The woman which was the mother of the kids smile and say thank you.

She continue doing what she did until she has only one rose left in her hand. While walking she found herself in front of the hospital. She went inside and ask the information counter if anybody that might need a rose. The nurse told her nobody wanted a rose. She ask the lady in the counter if she can get inside the rooms maybe someone wants to receive her last rose. She told the nurse that day was her birthday. But there was nobody that she knew wanted the rose at all.

Then she started walking down the hallway and found an open room. There was a Spanish guy who was very sick and she went close to him them offer the rose to him. She told the guy that its her birthday and she is giving that rose because God love's him. The guy was crying and very happy to receive it. He told the lady that he ask the nurse to bring him a rose for him but forgot to do it. The guy was alone in US dying of cancer and his family was in Mexico. It was a very touching moment and then the nurse came in the room surprise that the guy already the rose. The lady told about why she did it and suddenly he said..."I am glad you did it for him I am the vice president of balance shoes and i want to give you a year of supplies balance shoes. I am very busy that i forgot the request of this guy. I work here as a volunteer." The lady was very happy of the surprise that she receive that day. Imagine one year supply of balance shoes that was amazing reward of what she did.
